When I worked for Habitat for Humanity as a builder/drain layer, I saw a discrepancy in the two codes regarding levels around buildings. I could see problems at the coal face.
I started talking to people and discovered a need for a way to keep stormwater from entering gully dishes. With all the rain and floods of recent years, this issue has become very prominent, and the more I researched and sought advice, the more encouraged I felt to follow this path.
That’s when I came up with the Leak Proof Lid for gully traps.
I developed a Leak-Proof Lid that has all the functions necessary to make a drain compliant with the standards. I am also developing other environmentally friendly solutions to sanitary and stormwater problems.
Over time, with field testing and the help of testing at MIT (Manukau Institute of Technology), the Leak Proof Lid has been refined to really meet your needs.
